Hodgin neighborhood was chosen for a recycling bin pickup pilot program. Starting October 7 Albuquerque Solid Waste will pick up recycling every other week through March 2027. This end date may change.
Collection dates are as follows:
- October 7 and 21
- November 4 and 18
- December 2, 16, and 30*
- January 13 and 27
- February 10 and 24
- March 10 and 24
Visit the Every-Other-Week Recycling Pilot Program for more information about the program.
Hodgin is in the Wednesday B Collection Area, which you can see on the Maps and Areas Affected webpage.
Regular trash will continue to be picked up every week. The pilot program only applies to recycling pickup.
* As of this writing, the Solid Waste Maps and Areas Affected webpage shows December 23rd instead of December 30th. The 23rd changes the every other week sequence. We are trying to get this clarified by Solid Waste Management.
