Currently, the HNA has 65 registered members! This is an improvement over the approximately 35 members we had in October 2025, but falls well short of the over 950 households, businesses, and apartment buildings that lie within our neighborhood association boundaries.

The work of the HNA requires help and involvement from the whole community. The Association is only as effective as our membership base, and one of the primary goals of the Board is to recruit more members. Membership is free. Among the many benefits, members will:

• Receive the quarterly HNA newsletter.
• Receive updates on happenings in the neighborhood Participating in neighborhood events.
• Have an established community of neighbors within your area.
• Advocate for neighborhood improvements with experienced peers.

This summer HNA is focusing heavily on membership recruitment, and we need your help! There’s a lot of people and organizations we need to reach out to, and often folks are more receptive when they’re hearing directly from a neighbor they already know. Here are some ways you can help:

• Share this post and this link to the membership form with anyone in the neighborhood that you know – forward it to friends or request printed copies to hand out to your neighbors.
• Encourage your neighbors, people on your street, or those you interact with when out and about in the neighborhood to sign up for membership with the HNA.
• Hang up flyers around the neighborhood advertising the HNA – we have flyers and can provide you with a stack for you to hang on your own time.
• Volunteer to go door knocking with another neighbor to advertise the HNA.
• When stopping by businesses in the Association boundaries, ask them if they have joined as a business member of the HNA or if they know about the Association.
